Ocean Eyes Maldives marine watch
Urgent situations

Ocean Eyes is not an emergency or rescue service.

For immediate danger to people, injured wildlife requiring urgent intervention, fire, fuel spills or active illegal activity, contact the relevant emergency, rescue or enforcement organisation directly.

Before launch

Add verified local contacts here.

This sample deliberately does not invent phone numbers. Replace the cards below with contacts verified by your NGO partner or relevant Maldivian authority.

Human life or vessel emergency [Verified emergency number] Police, coast guard or maritime emergency contact.
Injured or entangled marine animal [Verified rescue organisation] Provide the organisation name, number and service coverage.
Pollution or illegal activity [Verified regulator or enforcement contact] Include a reporting link or hotline after confirmation.

After contacting emergency support

You may also submit an Ocean Eyes report when it is safe. The report can preserve a photo, location and incident details for later review, but it should never replace an urgent call.
